Chilmark deed transfers span $506,387 to $2 million as trust and family transactions dominate July
Seven property deeds were recorded in Chilmark between July 3 and Aug. 1, with three disclosing sale prices ranging from $506,387 to $2 million and a median of $1.8 million. The month's top recorded sale was 37 North Abels Hill Road at $2 million, sold to Goldman Sachs Bank USA; 1 Wooton Bassett Road followed at $1.8 million. Four of the seven deeds, including a $506,387 sale to JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, did not disclose a price or involved transfers within the same family or into trust. South Road recorded two transactions, and one parcel transferred to Chilmark Town Conservation. With more than half the deeds lacking disclosed prices, the data offers only a partial view of July's market values.
