Only Two of Five Chilmark Deeds Disclose a Sale Price This Month
Five Chilmark property deeds were recorded between July 17 and Aug. 15, but only two disclosed a sale price: $506,387 for 144 South Rd and $1,800,000 for 1 Wooton Bassett Rd, the period's top sale. Based on those two figures, the median disclosed price was $1,153,193. The other three transfers, involving the Shanthi Road Trust, 43 Ocean View Farm Rd and 42 Kenasaoome Way, listed no price and appear to be family or trust transfers. With disclosed pricing on less than half of the recorded deeds, the data does not support a broader read on market direction this period.
