Site Review Committee · Meeting of June 8, 2026

CHILMARK — The Site Review Committee reviewed a proposed 7.04 kW solar array installation at 19 State Road and determined it would not significantly impact public views along the State Road Roadside District. Applicant Owen Maloney seeks to replace the existing roof and add a 16-panel array to the secondary dwelling unit, built in 1900. Chair Clarissa Allen and committee members Sandy Broyard, Matthew Poole, and Peter Cook found the solar array would be partially visible from State Road but posed no significant scenic concerns.

The project was referred to the Historical Commission for review of the historic structure and is also subject to approvals from the Planning Board, Conservation Commission, Board of Health, and Zoning Board of Appeals.
