Site Review Committee determines permits needed for Eliot Avenue project

Chilmark Site Review Committee determined permits needed for Eliot Avenue renovation and addition.

Site Review Committee · Meeting of March 16, 2026

Chilmark Site Review Committee determined permits needed for Eliot Avenue renovation and addition. Applicant Bryan Collins, for property owner 20 Eliot Owner LLC, proposed renovation and construction of additions to a residence in the Shore Zone of the Coastal District on a pre-existing, non-conforming lot with no bedroom increase. The committee determined the project requires approval from the Zoning Board of Appeals for a special permit (Bylaw 11.6A2cia) and setback relief (Bylaw 6.6), as well as Conservation Commission and Board of Health approval.

Chair Clarissa Allen, Matthew Poole, Sandy Broyard, Peter Cook, Adam Petkus, and Janet L. Buhrman attended.
