CHILMARK — Select Board offered conditional employment to Reade Milne as Building Inspector. The board voted unanimously to extend a conditional offer to Milne at Grade J, step 13, effective July 1, FY27, at $73.81 per hour, subject to reference checks and physical. Chair Jeffrey Maida, Vice Chair Matthew Poole, and Clerk Rebecca Lynn Haag said Milne's background and knowledge of state regulations made her the strongest among three finalists.
The position had been expanded to 40 hours per week.
