Chilmark Select Board awarded the summer program contract to Chilmark Town Affairs Council, Inc. Evaluators scored CTAC significantly higher than the competing proposal from Chilmark Community Center Trust, with CTAC earning 94 percent Highly Advantageous ratings and the Trust receiving 31 percent. The Board voted unanimously to select CTAC, subject to amendment of its bylaws regarding nominating committee composition.
In other business, the Board voted to deny a Verizon Wireless request for small cell sites, approved covering a $400 health insurance shortfall by a vote of 2-0 with one abstention, and authorized negotiation of Town Administrator Timothy R. Carroll's contract.
