Planning Board · Meeting of May 11, 2026

CHILMARK — Planning Board continued two zoning bylaw hearings to July 27. Chairperson Rich Osnoss presided as the board voted unanimously to defer hearings on eliminating a Tennis Court definition and on Article 2 amendments that would add nine new definitions and modify four existing ones, including changes to exclude certain structures from Total Living Area calculations. Peter Cook urged postponement until a new Building Inspector joins the town.

Public commenter Sergio Modigliani expressed concern that retroactive application could harm property owners who purchased based on existing TLA allowances. The board also unanimously approved a Form A subdivision plan for 44 Cencelle.
