Chilmark HR Board unanimously approved animals in workplace procedures after liability discussion. Chair Donald Leopold and members voted to adopt the procedures manual entry for animals in municipal buildings, with updates to the employee acknowledgement. The board discussed liability and insurance coverage concerns; an inquiry to the Town Administrator about current coverage remained unanswered.
Members also discussed and agreed to revised one-time compensation for three part-time library employees, increased by $513.75 after a correction to one employee's hours.
