CHILMARK — Finance Committee recommended multiple warrant articles for the April Annual Town Meeting chaired by Vicki Jamieson Divoll, including $179,538.96 in raise-and-appropriate articles and $76,389.28 in stabilization transfers. The committee endorsed harbor articles addressing electrical pedestals and library public bathrooms funding from reserves. It voted to take no action on Community Preservation Act articles and the Specialty Code article, which would unlock Climate Leaders status and potentially one million dollars in clean energy funding; a motion to recommend the Specialty Code article received only 2 votes in favor.
Free cash remains uncertified, and a Special Town Meeting may follow the Annual Town Meeting once certification is complete.
