Chilmark Conservation Commission continued review of a view-clearing application pending detailed plan. At the September 3 meeting, applicant Jerome Kauff and representative Isaac Taylor presented their proposal to top and remove trees at Meadow Lane for improved pond views. The commission noted concerns about extent of topping, tree suitability, coastal impact, and conservation restrictions, requiring the applicants to submit a detailed plan with marked trees by the September 17 meeting.

The commission also voted unanimously to delegate determinations on three Certificates of Compliance at 26 Harbor Hill Road to the chair following an agent site visit.
