Chilmark Conservation Commission approved an accessory dwelling unit at 32 Stonewall Road with environmental safeguards, voting 5-1. The project required conditions including a 50-year stormwater plan and mandatory native plantings in the buffer zone to an isolated wetland. Associate member Allison Burger dissented.
The commission continued three other applications to August 20 and deferred action on a contentious shore protection and helical pile project at 18 Greenhouse Lane, citing commission concerns about the sequencing of house relocation and skepticism about the applicant's proposed timeline.
