CHILMARK — Squibnocket Pond District Advisory Committee reviewed a dwelling proposal at 22 Round Pond Road and found few concerns. Applicant Scott Stearns proposed constructing a 2375-square-foot, four-bedroom dwelling and one-bedroom studio on a 19.55-acre lot in Zone D. When asked whether a new well would be installed, the applicant said the existing well would be used.
The site sits more than 1000 feet from Squibnocket Pond with terrain sloping away from the water, minimizing threats to the pond. Present were Leanne Cowley (Chair), Peter Cook, Candy Shweder, and Matthew Poole.
